This
hole tests the golfers skills at concentration.
The green is elevated steeply some 40 feet above
the fairway, and should be approached with a short
iron.
Therefore, a well struck tee shot is imperative.
The green is protected by a small pot bunker
in front, and the two "false tongues"
on either side of the putting surface are punishing
for whoever comes up short on their approach.
This greensite is one of the few to be modified
during construction: it was well over fifteen
feet higher before being lowered.
