A good tee shot here is the difference between a short iron and a fairway wood for a second shot.

The tee shot should be hit favoring the right side to gain a good bounce to the bottom of the huge grassy dune. This will end up on the left side of the fairway which rewards the golfer by avoiding the two nasty bunkers at the right front of the green.

Any tee shot that is poorly hit, or timidly hit may result in a hanging lie to the green over 200 yards away.
